How to find a bilingual school in Barcelona?

école bilingue Barcelone

You are a bilingual family in Barcelona

Do you, mixed families, or those who have taken root in the truly cosmopolitan nest that is Barcelona, have a perfect command of Cervantes’ language as well as Catalan? What about your “second language”, whether it is the one spoken by one half of your children’s family tree, or the one they have learned since birth? While it can be difficult to get your children to practise several languages on a regular basis, there are a number of bilingual schools in Barcelona which have the advantage of allowing your children to speak their own language at home and practise in another all day at school, all in an enriching multicultural environment.

After a day in a bilingual school in Barcelona, our trusted bilingual babysitters are also there to coach your children in the language of your choice, and can also help them keep in touch with their native language. Marypop also offers video homework help, which is especially useful for newcomers to Spain.

You are back from expatriation

Back home, the life of your tribe is certainly disrupted, with a new living environment as well as a different education system from what they may have known, a return from expatriation can first of all be difficult to accept for your children. Don’t worry, it always takes time to adapt, and they will have plenty of anecdotes to tell their new friends! You may rightly wish that they continue to practice the language of your country of expatriation. Enrolling them in a bilingual school in Barcelona is therefore a possible solution for this.

Our Marypop babysitters can also help your children to keep their foreign language after a day in a bilingual school in Barcelona or to practice Spanish or even Catalan, thus developing the mastery of several languages that can be a precious asset for them.

You want to see your child progressing in a foreign language

It is well known that learning a language is easier if it starts at an early age, and we also know that today, being able to speak several languages is a great advantage for our children. This is why some families have chosen to enrol their children in an international school, so that they can grow up in an environment that enriches their culture and allows them to easily adopt a new language.
With Marypop, you can also introduce your children to learning a foreign language, thanks to our video services that allow you to discuss their interests with a trusted baby-sitter.
