The Marypop baby-sitter competition: how does it work?
1. You create and publish your presentation video (see our tips below).
2. The Marypop jury, made up of 5 people, will vote for the 3 best baby-sitter videos. Here are the prizes to be won:
- Top 1: an AMAZON gift card worth 70 euros
- Top 2: an AMAZON gift card worth 50 euros
- Top 3: an AMAZON gift card worth 30 euros
3. If you win, you will be notified directly by Whatsapp!
How to make a reassuring and friendly video?
Nothing could be easier! Here are some tips:
- Position yourself in front of the camera, in a well-lit environment (if possible in daylight)
- Choose a neutral and tidy background, with a few personal objects but not too many
- Optimal length of the video: about 1 minute, 1 minute 30
- Speak neither too fast nor too slow, and in the language you know best
- Introduce yourself by giving your first name, then give some information about your past babysitting experiences, say why you like babysitting and finally indicate the languages you speak (in the languages mentioned is even better!)
- Do NOT give any information that may be out of date in a few months: do NOT give your age, do NOT say what city you live in, do NOT mention the name of your university etc. And above all, do NOT give your name.
- And very important: smile!
How do I upload my video to Marypop as a babysitter?
- Upload your video to youtube or vimeo or any other online video platform
- Copy the link of your video (this is its internet address starting with www.)
- Paste this link in your dashboard on Marypop => section “My info” => field “Your presentation video”.
- Send an email to contact@marypop.com with the text “VIDEO OK
